About Us
History
Delta Tau Delta Fraternity was founded at Bethany College in the year 1858. Since then, Delt has spread to nearly 200 college campuses. More than 170,000 men have joined the brotherhood. Delt at the University of South Dakota was founded in 1924.
Academics
Delt strives to be academic weapons in and out of the classroom. Here at the University of South Dakota, we pride ourselves on having top fraternity GPAs for back-to-back years.
Philanthropy
Delta Tau Delta established a philanthropic partnership with JDRF in 2012. Chapters have raised nearly $2 million for T1D research. Last fall, we were able to raise $5,200 for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Social
Delta Tau Delta enhances its members college experience by providing a well-rounded social life. Last formal in Omaha, Nebraska, was a huge success. Omaha allowed Delts to show our dates a classy and unforgettable experience. Fancy clothes, delicious dinners, and an all-around great atmosphere made Omaha an unreal atmosphere.
